Chris Cagle is a chart-topping American country music artist whose passion and grit have defined his career. He moved to Nashville in 1994, working as a nanny, waiter, prep chef, and golf caddy while chasing his dream. Within months of signing his first publishing deal with Caliber Music, David Kersh recorded his song“I Breathe In, I Breathe Out”—but Cagle’s sights were set higher. He wanted to be on stage.
That opportunity came in 2000 when he signed with Virgin Records. His debut album Play It Loudwent Gold, producing multiple hits including the Top 10 single“My Love Goes On & On”, the Top 5“Laredo”, and his first #1,“I Breathe In, I Breathe Out”.
His self-titled sophomore album debuted at #1 on theBillboard Country Albums Chart, earning another Gold certification and delivering two more Top 5 singles,“What A Beautiful Day”and“Chicks Dig It”.
