A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show

History Lesson…A1A—The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show was born in 1991 when lead vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Jeff Pike invited drummer and harmonica player Scott Nickerson, founder of the first Jimmy Buffett Parrot Head Club and Parrot Heads In Paradise, to join him in his already successful solo tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The first Parrot Head Club, started by Scott Nickerson, was more than just your average club. Its members had to care deeply about charity work, community service, giving back, and Jimmy Buffett’s lifestyle, attitude, and music. Being a stickler for detail, while writing the bi-laws, Scott consulted Jimmy’s management and attorneys every step of the way to ensure that Jimmy and his team approved. In 1992, the band won a Jimmy Buffett Sound Alike Contest for Margaritaville Records, bringing them to the attention of Jimmy Buffett and his organization. That same year, A1A was the first band to perform at and repeatedly headline for many years the annual Jimmy Buffett ‘Meeting of The Minds’ Jimmy Buffett Parrot Head Convention. Jeff and Scott were granted the use of the name A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show through Jimmy and his management. The late Jimmy Buffett and members of his band, the late Greg “Fingers” Taylor, Mac McAnally, Michael Utley, Robert Greenidge, Peter Mayer, Amy Lee, Nadirah Shakoor, and Tina Gullickson, have all performed with A1A over the years. Today, the band’s popularity continues to grow, and with Jimmy Buffett’s devastating passing in September 2023, their mission, show, and presence are evermore critically important. The commitment, energy, musicianship, excitement, and continuous honest dedication to preserving Jimmy Buffet’s legacy that has always surrounded a Jeff Pike and A1A performance are an experience and a driving force that has helped the band remain the first, foremost, and longest-running Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show in history.

Larry Fleet: Another Year Older Tour with Dasher

LARRY FLEET   Tennessee-born troubadour Larry Fleet grew up on a stack of records spanning Merle Haggard, Otis Redding, Willie Nelson, and Marvin Gaye. A thoughtful songwriter with a knack for a one-liner, an ear for a sturdy hook, and a powerhouse voice that strikes like a match, Fleet was working blue-collar jobs to make ends meet long before landing his recording contract with Big Loud Records.    Seven years later and again working as an independent artist, the devout family man is turning heads among fans and critics as a songwriter (“Man Made A Bar” recorded by Morgan Wallen featuring Eric Church) alongside his own music, 2021’s tribute to the music that raised him, “Stack of Records”, his aptly titled 2019 debut “Workin’ Hard”, 2023’s “Earned It” featuring the single “Things I Take For Granted,” and his first latest, 2025’s independently-released “Hard Work & Holy Water.” Saving Country Music puts it simply: “If you’re looking for the future of traditional country music, then look no further.”     DASHER   Meet DASHER, a brother/sister duo, comprised of Max and Laela Dasher who make their home in the heart of Appalachia, Black Mountain, North Carolina. But before there was Appalachia, there was Northeast Louisiana. Max and Laela’s childhood was filled with screened-in-porch summer nights, where bluegrass ballads met the sweltering heat of the bayou. At a young age, Max and Laela learned perhaps the most important skill that any band can learn- they learned to blend. Blend their instruments, blend their harmonies, and blend their stories. This skill was perhaps perfected within the walls of an old church, where acapella worship was the only way to worship. And voices were the only instrument needed. It was here that they discovered how truly beautiful and haunting that a harmony can be. Fast forward to their high school years, where the Dasher family uprooted to the Blue Ridge mountains, known for being the epicenter of Folk and Americana music. It was on these cool mountain evenings where their passion for blending the storytelling traditions of Appalachian folklore with the soul-stirring narratives of their Louisiana heritage was ignited. DASHER weaves together the intricate threads of creating a sound that is both hauntingly familiar and refreshingly unique. DASHER is nostalgia. Every lyric has a story attached to it. Every instrument is a tribute to a place. When you hear the desperate whine of the fiddle, we hope you are taken somewhere warm. When the gentle plucking of the guitar begins, we hope you smell your grandma’s cooking. When the chords of the piano strike, we hope you are transported back to that little white church that you first found God. One thing is certain: when you listen to DASHER, you’re not just hearing music—you’re coming home.

GENE WATSON – Fourteen Carat Mind Tour

GENE WATSON   Country music legend Gene Watson hit the road in 2025 celebrating the 50th anniversary of his career-defining hit, “Love in the Hot Afternoon.” The single climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard charts and became one of the top songs of 1975.   In 2026, Watson will honor the 45th anniversary of one of his most requested songs, “Fourteen Carat Mind,” released in September of 1981 and later becoming a No. 1 hit. The tour also marks a special milestone as Watson approaches his 82nd birthday on October 11 (full list of tour dates below). Adding to the celebration, Watson’s complete solo catalog is now available to stream on Spotify for the very first time. ———– If you ask any number of country singers who their favorite singer is, a large number of them will respond: Gene Watson. His music peers even named him “The Singer’s Singer” for his octave jumping range and smooth tone. Gene Watson has 34 studio albums, scored over 72 charted songs, including 23 Top Tens and 11 #1 country and gospel hits over his Sixty-year career. Watson’s first single, the self- penned, “If It’s That Easy” was released on Sun Valley Records in 1962.   It is safe to say that most knowledgeable country fans would point to Gene Watson as one of  country music’s best ballad singers in the same league as country icons George Jones, Merle Haggard, Ray Price and others who are the standard bearers for honest, traditional country music. It’s no surprise to anyone but Gene that the Grand Ole Opry asked him to be a member and inducted him into that iconic group in March of 2020, just before the world shut down for the pandemic.     It’s also no surprise that such artists as Vince Gill, Lee Ann Womack, Trace Adkins, Connie Smith, Joe Nichols, Alison Krauss, and many others are not only happy, but eager  to record with Gene. It’s a stunning truth that at nearly 78 years of age, that Gene still sings with his clear, pure tone intact, an unmatched soulful delivery and in the same key as 30 years ago. And that is good news for fans of real country music rooted in the timeless values of one of America’s bedrock musical genres.
