LIVE AT RENFRO VALLEY’S NEW BARN THEATRE

ONE NIGHT.
ONE STAGE.
ONE SHOW.

Hailed by Rolling Stone as “country music’s most convincing young star since Stapleton,” Dillon Carmichael isn’t just an artist; he’s a force of nature. Born and raised in Burgin, Kentucky, the 6’4” troubadour first rose to fame in 2018 on the strength of his critically acclaimed Riser House debut, the Dave Cobb-produced Hell On An Angel, which prompted NPR to praise his “deep holler” and the New York Times to declare that his voice moves “with the heft and certainty of a tractor trailer.” Dates with everyone from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Trace Adkins to Dwight Yoakam and Justin Moore followed, as did festival appearances from Faster Horses to Tortuga and Artist To Watch nods from the likes of Billboard, Rolling Stone, Pandora, and more.

Carmichael followed it up in 2021 with Son Of A, another neo-traditional gem that’s racked up more than 50 million streams across platforms (Carmichael’s catalog boasts more than 160 million streams collectively) and yielded similarly glowing reviews for its feel-good mix of wry humor and raw heart. The album’s title track debuted as the #1 most added single at country radio and reached the Top 25. Carmichael remained busy as ever on the road in 2022, headlining his ‘Son Of A’ Tour and opening for the likes of Brooks & Dunn, Cody Johnson, Brothers Osborne and more.

In 2023, Carmichael played the Jack Daniels Old No. 7 and Country Cocktails Presents Luke Combs Bootleggers Tailgate Party on select dates of Luke Combs’ tour and is currently headlining his ‘Cold Can Holdin’’ Tour through the winter. In addition to playing shows, Carmichael is back in the studio with Jon Pardi and Ryan Gore. His most recent radio single, “Drinkin’ Problems,” was top 5 most added for 6 weeks in a row and is currently top 40 and climbing. With plans to release a full-length record next Spring, Carmichael will also be opening for Cody Johnson on his ‘The Leather Tour’ starting in February 2024 and is joining Jon Pardi on his European tour leg beginning in April.
Rye Davis is chasing that Neon Rainbow, nationally performing 200-250 shows in the last 3 years. In that time, he has opened for Ted Nugent, Puddle of Mudd, Uncle Cracker, and Chris Knight, been featured on ABC's Rising Star competition, and was an invited performer at Nashville's famous Bluebird Cafe.

His journey started while playing for the professional baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies organization in Clearwater, Florida, Rye bought his first guitar. He’d had a lifelong passion for music and had wanted to learn to play. He figured since he had days to kill between games, now would be the perfect time. So he bought a cheap guitar and, as he puts it, “That was the spark that started the fire. I started learning and strumming chords and fell in love with songwriting, plus the guys liked to hear me sing.”

Rye’s smooth, distinctive vocals and his “Let’s all have a good time” attitude bring his brand of Country Music to a whole new generation of listeners who never knew what Country could be. Armed with an All-American, can-do attitude and unwavering faith and determination, Rye Davis stands as a beacon of hope for the return of real, good-time, down home music.
