Award-winning duo Maddie & Tae channel their unbreakable bond, honest songwriting and “some of the tightest harmonies on Music Row” (Rolling Stone) into their fourth studio album, the recently released, Love & Light, which the Associated Press calls “the soundtrack to a summertime road trip with girlfriends.” The 16-track album features the songs “Free Like,” “Sad Girl Summer,” “Heart They Didn’t Break,” “Kissing Cowboys” and “Chasing Babies & Raising Dreams.” Maddie & Tae are currently on tour and made their headline debut at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium to a packed hometown crowd where they celebrated the success of two of their hits – the 4x Platinum -certified “Die From A Broken Heart” and Platinum-certified “Friends Don’t.” Together as longtime friends and music collaborators, Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr previously drew praise for their project Through The Madness Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and their No. 1 debuting The Way It Feels album. The hit “Die From A Broken Heart” topped the country airplay charts, making Maddie & Tae the first and only female twosome with multiple No. 1s. Maddie & Tae first broke out in 2013 with their brilliant counter to bro-country, the Platinum-selling smash, “Girl In A Country Song,” which took Country radio by storm, skyrocketing to the top of the charts and establishing them as only the third female duo in 70 years to top the Country Airplay charts. They took home Group/Duo Video of the Year (“Woman You Got”) at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. They have earned trophies from the Radio Disney Music Awards and CMA Awards, along with multiple ACM, Billboard and CMT Music Award nominations. Featured on their debut album START HERE, of which they penned each of the eleven tracks, the PLATINUM-certified breakout hit soared atop the Country radio charts and made them only the third female duo to peak their debut single at #1 in the history of the Billboard Country singles chart. The gender-flipping video garnered over 38 million views and scored the duo their first-ever award: CMA Video of the Year.
The pair, from Texas and Oklahoma, respectively, also swept the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards, winning both Favorite Country Artist and Favorite Country Song for GOLD-certified “Fly.” They have previously been nominated for ACM, CMT and CMA Awards.
