The Roots and Boots 90’s Electric Throwdown brings together three iconic voices of ‘90s country music:

Sammy Kershaw brings his unique honky-tonk style and Louisiana charm to the stage. With memorable hits like “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful” and “Cadillac Style,” Sammy has solidified his place as a beloved figure in the country music world.

Aaron Tippin is renowned for his patriotic anthems and heartfelt songs that resonate with the American working class. Known for hits like “You’ve Got to Stand for Something” and “My Blue Angel,” Aaron has been a cornerstone of country music since the early ‘90s.

Collin Raye has delivered countless chart-topping hits, including “Love, Me” and “This Life.” Since his debut in 1991, Collin has been captivating audiences with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, earning a loyal fan base over the years.

Samuel Paul Kershaw (born February 24, 1958) is an American country music artist. He has released 16 studio albums, with three RIAA platinum certifications and two gold certifications among them. More than 25 singles have entered Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including the number one hit "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" and 10 more Top 10 hits: "Cadillac Style", "Anywhere but Here", "Haunted Heart", "Queen of My Double-Wide Trailer", "I Can't Reach Her Anymore", "National Working Woman's Holiday", "Third Rate Romance", "Meant to Be", "Vidalia", and "Love of My Life".

Kershaw tried to enter politics, running as a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor of Louisiana in 2007 and 2010. In 2007 he finished third in the jungle primary, but Democrat Mitch Landrieu won strongly in the general election. In 2010 he carried more parishes than any other candidate, but placed third. He endorsed Republican Jay Dardenne, Secretary of State, for the position, who won the general election.
Aaron Dupree Tippin (born July 3, 1958 ) is an American country music artist and record producer. Initially a songwriter for Acuff-Rose Music, he gained a recording contract with RCA Nashville in 1990. His debut single, "You've Got to Stand for Something" became a popular anthem for American soldiers fighting in the Gulf War and helped to establish him as a neotraditionalist country act with songs that catered primarily to the American working class. Under RCA's tenure, he recorded five studio albums and a Greatest Hits package. Tippin switched to Lyric Street Records in 1998, where he recorded four more studio albums, counting a compilation of Christmas music.
Floyd Elliot Wray (born August 22, 1960) is an American country music singer, known professionally as Collin Raye, and previously as Bubba Wray. Under the latter name, he recorded as a member of the band The Wrays between 1983 and 1987. He made his solo debut in 1991 as Collin Raye with the album All I Can Be, which produced his first Number One hit in "Love, Me". All I Can Be was the first of four consecutive albums released by Raye to achieve platinum certification in the United States for sales of one million copies each. Raye maintained several Top Ten hits throughout the rest of the decade and into 2000.
